Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe S.A.S. celebrated a thrilling conclusion at TEKKEN World Tour Global Finals 2024 last night in Tokyo, crowning VARREL | Rangchu as the champion after an intense showdown with Falcons | Atif Butt. The game’s inaugural Finals event also included exciting announcements, unveiling TEKKEN World Tour 2025 and some of the plans for Season 2 of TEKKEN™ 8, which begins in Spring 2025. Additionally, players can tune to the Game Awards on 12th December for the reveal of the last DLC character for Season 1.
Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, TEKKEN 8 brings the fight to the new generation, harnessing the power of Unreal® Engine 5 to push the envelope for fighting games. The long-awaited sequel in the legendary franchise is one of the highest rated titles in the series. It continues to deliver new content following its launch in January 2024, for the first time adding a new Story Mode chapter and providing players with new characters and stages, in-game items, and exciting collaborations with high-profile brands such as NIKE and Gentle Monster. TEKKEN 8 is available now on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Also at the event, exciting updates were revealed for TEKKEN 8 such as the Photo Mode that has been further enhanced, featuring a Player Search function that allows players to locate others using their TEKKEN ID. Additionally, bonus levels will be added to the Fight Pass, offering players even more rewards and challenges to enjoy.
