Dune: Part Two Comes to Your Screens Early
Set to be one of the biggest film events next year, Call of Duty players will get an early taste of Dune: Part 2, as Season 1 of Call of Duty introduces Paul Atreides and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen as playable Operators. With Denis Villeneuve’s sequel on the horizon, the Call of Duty team has shared the lowdown on these iconic characters, their integration into MWIII, and why you should get excited ahead of its cinematic release in 2024.
Paul Atreides
The only son of Duke Leto Atreides I and Lady Jessica Atreides and royal heir to the noble House Atreides, Paul has spent his entire life being prepared for the greatness that comes with his family’s name. Haunted by visions of a mysterious girl and an inevitable future, he is called to leave his childhood homeworld behind for a new life on the most dangerous planet in the Known Universe, where he must confront his innermost fears if he is to realize his true destiny.
In Dune: Part 2, Paul Atreides continues his journey, as he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family, and endeavours to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict
Unleash vengeance on your enemies as the royal heir to the noble House Atreides. The “Paul Atreides” Operator Skin comes armed with two Weapon Blueprints featuring Spice Tracers: the “Fremen Fighter” Assault Rifle and the “Desert Maula” Handgun. Or get up close with the “Crysknife” Melee Weapon Blueprint, carved from the tooth of a sandworm. And when you catch your enemy unaware, eliminate them with the “Chip and Shatter” Finishing Move.
Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen
Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen is one of Dune: Part 2’s new villains, chosen by his family to lead Arrakis once they’ve taken control of the planet. He’s the nephew of Baron Harkonnen, described as a fierce warrior who’s desperate to prove himself worthy of the family that he serves. Like Paul in many ways – they’re both facing immense pressure to preserve their family name, among the strongest fighters of their generation, and are desperate for power. This match-up is perfect for the Call of Duty maps, as Feyd-Rautha is the first real threat to Paul’s leadership that he’s forced to face.
Players can deploy as the cruel, narcissistic Feyd-Rautha of House Harkonnen. The “Feyd-Rautha” Operator Skin comes armed with two Tracer Weapon Blueprints, the “Harkonnen Terror” LMG and “The Face of Fear” SMG. In close quarters, prove your combat prowess using the “Feyd’s Blade” Melee Weapon Blueprint or sneak up from behind and eliminate them with the “Feyd’s Frenzy” Finishing Move.
Display your relentless pursuit of power with the animated “Champion of Cruelty” Calling Card, the “Harkonnen Glowglobe” Weapon Charm, and the animated “House Harkonnen” Emblem.
A Blockbuster Experience
