Global expansion continues for leading content production company with new European office led by 15-year videogames industry veteran Jean-Baptiste Fleury
Virtuos a global leader in film and videogame content production announced the opening of a new studio dedicated to mobile game design. Located at the heart of Paris near the Notre Dame cathedral this studio marks a new milestone in Virtuos development strategy. The Paris Notre-Dame studio will bring together the collective creative power of its mobile game experts with Virtuos’ Asia-based production strength to deliver innovative and high quality titles.
Additionally Virtuos announced that videogame industry veteran Jean-Baptiste Fleury will lead the new studio in Paris.
“The Paris Notre Dame studio allows us to leverage creative talents in France as well as to attract international talents who would like to experience the historic Paris ” said Gilles Langourieux CEO and founder of Virtuos.
Fleury brings over 15 years in videogame development marketing and creative strategy through his career. He started as a game designer and worked on the launch of major worldwide brands at Nintendo including Pokémon Mario and Zelda. He joined the strategic marketing department of Ubisoft and worked on the development of Ubisoft’s brand portfolio as well as mergers and acquisition strategy.
Fleury was previously the Marketing Director of Kobojo a F2P mobile game publisher working on new products from creation to launch. He holds an MBA from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
Virtuos recently launched « Carbon Warfare » a mobile game with an engaged thematic and an innovative gameplay available on iOS and Android. Carbon Warfare aims at raising players’ awareness on global warming through a daring perspective.
