Electronic Arts Inc. and Hazelight Studios, in partnership with Turn Me Up Games, announced today during the Nintendo Direct, It Takes Two, winner of over 90 awards including The Game Awards and DICE’s Game of the Year, will launch on the Nintendo SwitchTM 2 on October 15***. The Nintendo Switch 2 version introduces a new way for players to enjoy the game together, regardless of platform or if they own the game, with the free Friend’s Pass. Additionally, players who already own the game on the Nintendo Switch will be able to update to the Nintendo Switch 2 version for free****.
On It Takes Two for Nintendo Switch 2, players can enjoy higher resolution, improved frame rates, and richer visual effects for a smoother, more immersive experience – while playing with friends across platforms. With the free Friend’s Pass, players can invite whoever to join the adventure for free, even if they don’t own the game. Players will be able to adventure together across platforms (Nintendo Switch 2, PC, Xbox One, Series X|S and PlayStation(R) 4/5), or use GameShare to connect with Nintendo Switch players.

It Takes Two will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 15 for $39.99 STD and is currently available in digital storefronts for Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Origin, EA App and Steam) for $39.99 STD.
