The Black Ops III World League season consists of two major competitive stages leading up to Call of Duty Championship 2016 in the fall, that has started with regional qualifying events and online qualifiers. Players must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

Pro Division & Challenge Division
Pro Division
The Pro Division of the Call of Duty World League have competitions in North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. Each territory have an independent regional structure for fans to follow leading up to Call of Duty Championship 2016.

Challenge Division
The Challenge Division provides a means for aspiring or amateur Call of Duty players to earn their way to the Call of Duty Championship. The Challenge Division host a series of LAN events that offer a prize pool as well as World League points for a chance to earn a spot at the Call of Duty Championship.
