What happens when you bring together one of the world’s best-selling video game franchise, a cycling all-time great and a legendary street art crew? Well, you only get a custom-designed, Vondel-inspired Wilier racing bike. Did we also mention it’s the same model bike that Mark Cavendish is currently racing on in his last ever French bike tour. Nice.

To celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone™ Season 04, and ahead of Mark Cavendish’s last ever French bike tour, this unique collaboration has resulted in a custom bike that takes inspiration from the game’s new medium-sized Battle Royale map, Vondel. The graffiti elements of the bike have been designed by Dutch street art collective, Kamp Seedorf, to really bring authenticity to the hand-drawn artwork.
As well as leaning into the new Call of Duty European inspired map, the team have used a Wilier Filante SLR bike, the exact same model bike that Mark Cavendish is currently racing on in his final French bike tour, before retiring at the end of the 2023 season. Cavendish is hoping to win his 35th stage at the renowned French bike race, to take the all-time record for stage wins at the race.

To bring this partnership to life, Call of Duty enlisted the help of Dutch street art crew, Kamp Seedorf. The intricate purple brick Vondel-inspired design was sketched by hand and the design features details including some of the new map Vondel’s key points of interest, such as the Castle, Train Station and Windmill, plus Operators Nikto and Ghost.

The new free-to-play Battle Royale map – Vondel – which size-wise is between Al Mazrah and Ashika Island, welcomes up to 18 Operators for DMZ and 72 Operators for Resurgence game modes. Available for Battle Royale and DMZ experiences within Warzone™. Expect a mixture of densely packed urban streets and canals, larger structures to fully explore (inside and out), a large degree of verticality and the means to counter those that take advantage of it, parkour routes and numerous secrets to discover.
