Hvad er Danmark mest kendt for ude i verden. Tja, svenske MI5 Communication der står for markedsføringen af HITMAN i norden har deres bud her under. Jeg har et par andre ting jeg kunne sætte på listen men den venter vi med.

…Anyway. HITMAN comes from Denmark’s finest – IO Interactive. But what else has Denmark produced? Let’s take a look.
LEGO
The beloved plastic building blocks are remembered fondly by our brains, hearts and feet. It’s also one of the greatest Danish inventions of all time. It was developed in 1949 by a Danish man called Godtfred Kirk Christiansen. The name LEGO comes from ”leg godt” in Danish, which means ”play well”.

Smørrebrød
This sandwhich might as well be called Denmarks national dish. It usually consists of a slice of dark and compact whole rye bread, and on top of it a combination of toppings which can be varied in a billion different ways. Spreads can include things like smoked herring, onion and raw eggyolk.
That’s a smørrebrød in Agent 47’s hand right? Right? No… I guess it isn’t…
”Hygge”
Hygge is not a word or a concept, it’s deeply rooted in every dane and is part of their very being. Simply put, hygge can be described as a cosy and warm atmosphere where you take time to enjoy the good in life together with people you like. Some people think that there’s a connection between hygge and the fact that the Danes are supposed to be one of the happiest people in the world.

Google Maps
Believe it or not, Google Maps is actually a Danish invention. The online mapping service was originally a C++ program designed by two Danish brothers – Lars and Jens Eilstrup Rasmussen – At the Sydney based company Where 2 Technologies. They pitched their programme to the Google management, which later on bought the company in 2004.

(Side note: There’s actually an iceberg in Denmark – A unique apartment building in the harbour are of Aarhus that looks just like actual icebergs.)
