Teamet fra MI5 Communication har igen lagt hovederne i blød og det er der blevet denne oversigt af film i HITMAN tema ud af. Ud over at León er en af mine favoritter så vil jeg gerne have lov at tilføje: The Long Kiss Godnight, The Accountant, The Mechanic og så skal vi ikke glemme Assassins fra 1995 med Sly og Banderas. Selvom den også går som sci-fi er Looper også værd at se.

John Wick
Keanu Reeves plays John Wick, a retired hitman seeking vengeance. It sounds pretty easy, but it’s not, and the movie is as entertaining as it is violent. As a bonus, late Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist stars as the top bad guy in this movie. The sequel to John Wick released in early 2017, and a third movie will be incoming in 2019.

No Country for Old Men

This movie by the Coen-brothers won 76 awards, including 4 Oscars. Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee Jones amongst others stars in this movie where a hunter stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and a sh*tload of money – And then there’s mayhem.
Pulp Fiction
This is an iconic movie with Uma Thurman, John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson. You should watch it even if you don’t crave Hitman-related movies. Thanks.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

If you’re more into comedies, don’t worry. There’s actually at least one Hitman-comedy. In Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt plays a married couple hired by different agencies to kill each other.

Léon
A 12-year old girl – Matilda –  is taken in by a professional assassin after her family is murdered, and becomes his protégée. This movie features Jean Reno and a young Natalie Portman. On IMDB it’s in the top 30 highest rated movie of all time.

Movies that aren’t really Hitman-movies more assassin/agent movies but sort of fit in anyway:

  • Kill Bill
  • The Bourne movies
  • Lucky Number Slevin
  • Any James Bond movie…
