Odyssey Interactive has announced that their debut title Omega Strikers, the 3v3 knock-out striker the community has dubbed “Rocket League of Legends,” will be launching in February 2023 on PC, consoles and mobile devices with full cross-platform support including cross-play AND cross-progression with native controls built for each platform.

The studio is also releasing their next major update for the Omega Strikers PC Open Beta which includes the new Striker, Rune, a new limited time mode called Clash of Clones and a variety of balance and UI updates. The addition of Rune to the Strikers roster marks the third new character released (following Ai.Mi and Asher) since Open Beta began last month. You can read about the latest update here. There are two more major updates in the works which are set to be released later this year while the team focuses on the full launch in February.

Lastly, Odyssey has also announced a $19M Series A funding round led by Makers Fund with participation from Anthos Capital, The Mini Fund, Andreesen Horowitz (a16z) and angel investor Mitch Lasky to power them through to launch and beyond.

I’m including a special letter to the community from Odyssey here as well as a press release below which points to Omega Strikers‘ February 2023 cross-platform launch and additional details surrounding the Series A.
